About
Jenna Bergstraesser brings characters and stories to life: on the page and on the stage and screen.
Her passion manifests in her design work: she specializes in fantastical, artistic, historical, and surreal productions, but has a breadth of work that spans all genres.
She spent the bulk of her design career post-grad at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where she notably designed for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Avengers Campus, the Oogie Boogie Bash, and many more THEA and IAAPA award-winning live entertainment productions. In her 8 years at Disney she designed for more than 100 productions worldwide.
Since then, she has moved into film and live entertainment as an independent designer. She has designed 4 upcoming feature films and many short films of all genres. She is the resident designer for The Road Theatre in North Hollywood and designs for many other theatres in the Los Angeles area. She most recently designed Six Flags’ DC Heroes and Villains show— the park’s rave-reviewed return to live entertainment.
Her art has been featured worldwide in books, illustration publications, and at live events. She graduated from Oberlin College with a Visual Arts degree and a concentration in Costume Design.
